Raytheon Anschütz Standard 14 Gyrocompass

The Raytheon Anschütz Standard 14 gyrocompass can be used on board any sea-going ship.

Due to its minimum dimension, it’s best-suitable for small ship navigation, e.g. on board fishery craft, tugs, patrol, police, customs, coast guard and cargo boats, motor coasters, off-shore ferries, yachts, dredgers etc.

STANDARD 14 has been replaced by the newest compass STANDARD 22.

Description

The Raytheon Anschütz Standard 14 gyrocompass provides an analog course indication referred to true north.

Via an electric scanning and transmission system, it permits the compass course reference to be transmitted to analog or digital repeater compasses, autopilot, satellite navigation or communication equipment, radar or DF equipment, course recorder as well as to an automatic sea chart table Anschütz “NAUTOPLOT”.

Due to its modular construction, twin systems can be realized as well for special applications.

The newest compass STANDARD 22 has replaced STANDARD 14.

We are still in the position to perform service support for the STAMDARD 4 compasses until today.
