5 yearly service for Echo Sounder

Recommend to change new transducer of echo sounder for ships of 50,000 gt and over

Transducer used 5 years and its surface dent that is the same as the following picture.

Although the transducer is normal, we strongly recommend owner to change NEW transducer to avoid NO any issue in future 5 years after docking maintenance.

Dent value criterion: 4mm

For ship below 50,000 gt, this situation will be less due to her drift is less and pressure effect is less.

No matter any maker/model, this issue usually happen on any vessel.
