FURUNO NX-500 Navtex  Receiver is designed for any boat that will be undertaking extended voyages or captains that need to keep a watchful eye on marine conditions. The compact, lightweight system has a high quality 9" x 7" dot matrix thermal printer that uses 4.4" wide paper. Once the system settings are made, the system functions in a continuous unattended mode. Any station can be selected, but emergency messages are received on a priority basis. Up to 66 message IDs can be stored for 66 hours.

• Compact, lightweight Navigation Telex Receiver (automatic narrow-band direct-printing telegraphy) conforming to IMO A.525 (XIII), CCIR REC. 476-3, Rec. 540-1, and other national NAVTEX receiver specifications

• Meet SOLAS requirements, suitable also for pleasure craft, fishing boats, any other vessels

• Unattended, continous operation

• Quiet, quality, clear printouts by thermal recording mechanism

• System diagnosis

• 10.8 to 40.0 VDC power supply

• An audible and visual alarm for URGENT message (Search and rescue alerts)

• Stores 64 message ID's for 66 hours

• Active antenna optional

• Memory backup 6 hours incase of power supply failure

• May be used as a data logger when connected with equipment outputting data in either NMEA 0183 or CIF format (Will not interrupt NAVTEX reception)
