Why need to do overhaul service for magnetic compass bowl

We recommend to do the overhaul service from shore workshop for magnetic compass bowl.

We found the all of compass bowl inside gasket/o-rings would be worn out, especially the compass bowl installed on compass deck.

The following picture from 10 years compass bowl ( Suara Keiki , SR-165M) , upper and lower gasket were worn-out, inside compass rotor was leakage which must be repaired in workshop.
