JRC JLN-202 Doppler Log

JRC JLN-205 Doppler Log is provided with a  transducer assembly mounted on the hull bottom to emit an ultrasonic signal in two downward directions simultaneously and measure resultant Doppler shifts of return echoes in the sea.

For accurate measurement, one beam of the signal is directed obliquely forward with respect to the ship and the other directed also obliquely backward.
