FURUNO FS-1575 MF/HF Radiotelephone (150 W) shipboard radiotelephones facilitate general and GMDSS communications with an integrated DSC/DSC Watch Receiver. The FURUNO FS-1575 fully complies with GMDSS carriage requirements for SOLAS ships in A3 and A4 Sea Areas and meet ITU recommendation on digital selective calling system for use in the Maritime Mobile Service, ITU-R M.493-13.
The flexible FURUNO FS-1575 unit can operate simultaneously as a DSC transceiver and a DSC Watch Receiver on all distress and safety frequencies in MF and HF bands. Option to connect an IB585 NBDP terminal to the transceiver for maritime telex operation, and distress message and/or maritime safety information handling.
